I became an Early Childhood Educator because; I was lucky enough to get a school based traineeship. I loved coming to work every Wednesday and was so happy when I was offered an educators position at KDK. So I completed my Cert III before leaving high school and was offered a position at KDK Kids First once completing year 12. I have stayed at the Centre ever since and then went onto complete my Diploma in Children’s services.

I developed a passion for working with children while I was completing the practical side of my Certificate III in Early Childhood. I knew this was the career path I wanted to pursue, as I loved helping children grow and develop both physically and cognitively. I find watching the fascination in the children's eyes when they learn or achieve something for the first time is very rewarding.
I love working at KDK Kids First, because the staff and families have helped me grow as an individual, I love being apart of such a great team.
On my weekends I enjoy spending my time with my close friends and family, I enjoy camping and exploring the great out doors. I enjoy cooking, and my fur babies.
