I became an Early Childhood Educator because once my own children grew up and left home, I still wanted to be a part of children's lives and help them learn and grow. There is never a dull moment working with children and everyday is always fun and different. Seeing the children happy and playing makes me believe I have one of the best jobs in the world, it also helps to keep me young at heart.

I love working at KDK Kids First because it is such a friendly and positive environment. All the staff and families are so welcoming and supportive. The centre is like one big family.
On my weekends I like to spend time in my garden, I love my little dog Scrappy, and I love having my children and grandchildren come over to spend time with me.
